Energy saving:
Use of waste heat from the distillery for heating purposes. Regularly informing employees about energy savings in the company. Use of LED lamps in at least 95% of the lamps. Use of daylight (e.g. prisms, fiber optic cables, light domes). Motion detector or timer or twilight switch for lights. Lighting planning with energy saving aspects in mind.
Increase of energy efficiency:
Modernization of the heating system/replacement of the heat generator. Investment measure in an energy-efficient cross-sectional technology according to BAFA. Regular leak testing. Lowering the pressure level to the minimum.
Reduction of CO2 emissions:
Operation of a photovoltaic system. 100% use of green electricity.
Resource conservation and circular economy:
Use of water-saving system technology. Other effective organizational and technical. Measures to save drinking water (e.g. waterless urinals, touchless taps). Development of a company waste prevention concept. Increasing resource efficiency by optimizing the use of materials (at least 2% material savings). Use of recyclable packaging, resource-saving production and operational measures.
Ensuring environmentally friendly mobility:
Only purely electric vehicles as company cars. Carrying out a fleet analysis with a focus on electromobility. Conversion of at least 20% of the vehicle fleet to alternative drives. At least one vehicle with a hybrid or natural gas drive is used. Provision of company bicycles for employees. Installation of a charging station for electromobility.
Promoting nature conservation and biodiversity:
Bee project and orchard. Compensation areas. Annual tree planting event.
Reduction in the operational use of particularly environmentally harmful substances, for example through the voluntary introduction of environmentally friendly substitutes:
Reduction of water-polluting operating and auxiliary materials by 30%.
