In independent blind tastings, the SLYRS Single Malt Whisky Fifty One was awarded the title “German Whisky of the Year” and a gold medal. In addition, two other SLYRS whiskies were also awarded gold medals.

The SLYRS Single Malt Whisky Rum Cask Finish also won a gold medal at the Meininger's International Spirits Award (ISW). After aging in American white oak barrels, it gains additional fruity and exotic aromas from its finish in select rum casks. The award underscores the high quality and the successful blend of the classic SLYRS character with the subtle influences of rum cask aging.
