This coffee is roasted in batches at the Dinzler coffee roastery in
Irschenberg using a slow-roasting process at low
temperatures of up to 200 degrees. This reduces acidity and irritants, allowing
the flavours to develop to their full potential.
The blend used here consists of 95 per cent Arabica
coffee. The beans come from South and Central America, enhanced with
speciality coffee from the African highlands of Zambia. Following roasting,
the coffee is aged for 72 hours in a SLYRS whisky cask. This is where it acquires its
inimitable SLYRS flavour.
Perfectly prepared as a pour-over or filter coffee,
SLYRS roasted coffee reveals complex aromas, a full body and
a brilliant aftertaste in the cup. A real must-have for anyone who appreciates the virtues of the finest
coffee and the most exquisite Bavarian whiskies.
