Masterpiece of the seventh edition
Exotic depth, Bavarian character
The seventh edition of SLYRS DISTILLERS CHOICE bears the hallmark of Christoph Seifried – Communications and PR Manager at SLYRS, a qualified brewing and beverage technologist and a trained spirits sommelier.
Together with the SLYRS distillers, he selected a special combination of casks that enriches the characteristic SLYRS DNA with exciting tropical and spicy facets. The result is an exceptional bottling with exotic depth and unmistakable character.
Two years of Caribbean finishing
Distilled in March 2020 and initially matured in new American white oak casks, this single malt received its special finish from 2024 onwards.
For a further two years, the whisky was stored in selected rhum agricole casks from Haiti and the Caribbean island of Guadeloupe. The influences of these special casks lend it an extraordinary tropical-spicy aroma and ensure a multi-faceted tasting experience.
Tropical fruit meets SLYRS DNA
The characteristic SLYRS DNA forms the foundation of this special bottling: rich vanilla, delicate caramel and malty depth meet intense notes of pineapple, ripe yellow fruits and spicy cinnamon.
On the palate, the whisky is full-bodied and powerful, with harmoniously integrated sweetness. In the long finish, pleasant oak spice and exotic fruit aromas unfold.
Limited to 653 bottles
