American white oak, this limited-edition
rarity acquires its incomparable character. Only the finest Bavarian grain,
spring water and the varied climate of Upper Bavaria give SLYRS
Single Malt Whisky its uniqueness.
Our SLYRS Single Malt Whisky is aged for several years in new
American white oak casks. This whisky then spends over 11 months
developing its unique finish in original Amontillado casks. We source these casks
from Spain, from the famous Bodegas Tradición (Jerez). These are very
valuable casks, up to 50 years old, which we use for our sherry-cask
matured SLYRS. In the glass, it glows a golden yellow.
Tasting & Recommendations
Slightly below room temperature – at around 16 degrees –
its full bouquet unfolds.
