SLYRS Bavarian Whisky Distillery was named Best Whisky Distillery National at the Germany's Best Whisky Awards 2026 by Der Whisky Botschafter magazine. An award that is now considered the most important prize in the German-speaking whisky scene and clearly demonstrates the significance of the winners.

A great honor for our SLYRS Organic Single Malt Whisky: it was awarded gold at the renowned Meininger's International Spirits Award (ISW) 2025 - and was also named Organic Spirit of the Year.

What a weekend! On Saturday, June 28, we were able to open a new chapter in the history of SLYRS together with over 250 invited guests: the grand opening of our new, ultra-modern distillery directly on Lake Schliersee.
